Defender CHL offers handgun instruction and Texas LTC (License to Carry) certification through Gary Pierce, a Texas DPS Certified instructor (Lic #01703321) and NRA Certified Pistol Instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience.

• •Beginners Handgun & LTC/CHL Combo — $175. Combines handgun fundamentals with LTC classroom instruction. You'll learn safety, shooting mechanics, and sight picture in the morning, then qualify at the range. Afternoon covers Texas use of force laws, storage, restrictions, and application process. Most popular option.
• •Texas License to Carry Class Only — $75. Classroom-only LTC certification for those who already know how to shoot. Covers state and federal weapons laws, application process, and restrictions needed to pass the state exam.
• •Beginners Handgun Class — $125. No LTC component. Covers safety, fundamentals, stance, and sight picture with range qualification.
• •Range Qualification Only — $50. For those who completed an online LTC course elsewhere and need range certification.
• •Private Classes — Available upon request
