Full description and what we offer
First Law of Nature operates on a single core philosophy: Self-Preservation is the First Law of Nature—preservation of oneself from harm or destruction. The business exists because criminals plan and prepare; responsible gun owners should too.
The instructor, Michael Mitchell, brings decades of military law enforcement experience to every class. He's a Combat Veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Just Cause, and holds current certifications from both the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) as a License To Carry (LTC) Instructor and the National Rifle Association (NRA) as a Certified Pistol Instructor.
Students consistently note that Michael's teaching style is patient, engaging, and never boring—he keeps groups involved while covering serious material.

Most LTC instructors teach the class and move on. First Law of Nature doesn't. The instructor has a vested interest in student success beyond certification:
This commitment exists because they believe students should actually be prepared to protect themselves and their loved ones—not just pass a test.
