Freedom Firearms operates as a full-service FFL dealer at 4901 Franklin Ave in Waco, Texas. Family-owned and focused on customer service, they handle firearm sales, transfers, gunsmithing, and cleaning—plus Texas License to Carry classes.

Inventory includes: - Pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns, and antique weapons - Tactical apparel, optics, knives, and tactical accessories - Ammunition

They use an ultrasonic machine to break up grease, grime, and rust, then hand oil each part. Parts that can't go in the machine get hand-cleaned.

FFL Transfer Fees: - Handguns: $20 (each additional: $10) - Long guns/shotguns: $20 (each additional: $10) - NFA items: $75 (each additional: $50)

• •NFA Services: They handle Class 3 transfers through their Silencer Shop storefront.

• •Peace of Mind Transfers: Sell your firearm safely with a background check. $20 per background check. No more wondering if the buyer is legal—Freedom Firearms handles it.

Requirements: - Valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID with current address - Acceptable IDs: Texas DL, CDL, Concealed Handgun License, License to Carry, Texas ID Card - Seven business days to pick up after notification (storage fees apply after that)

FedEx is their preferred carrier. Handguns ship Next Day Air only; long guns ship 2-day Ground (federal law requirement).

All firearms must ship to a licensed FFL dealer. If you supply your own box, it must be unmarked corrugated packaging (no branded boxes).

They run LTC certification courses that include: - Classroom instruction at their Waco location - Shooting qualification at an external range - Cost: $100 - You need: your own weapon, 50 rounds of ammo, eye and ear protection - Rental weapons and ammo available upon request

Online LTC courses also available through U.S. Law Shield (classroom instruction sold separately).

Unlike some shops, Freedom Firearms offers both layaway and consignment options so you can shop flexibly.
