Guardians Defense

Guardians Defense operates on a core belief: if you practice wrong, your practice will fail you when it matters. Every course emphasizes correct technique, muscle memory, and safety commitment—not just reps.

Core Training: - Handguns 101 – Beginner course covering universal safety rules, how handguns work (semi-auto vs. revolvers), ammunition basics, and choosing the right handgun for your situation. - Defensive Shooting Fundamentals – USCCA-certified instruction on grip, stance, gear selection (holsters, flashlights, safes), and the difference between defensive shooting and marksmanship. Offered as online e-learning plus live-fire proficiency qualification. - Texas License to Carry (LTC) – Meets Texas DPS requirements. Covers weapons laws, deadly force use, non-violent dispute resolution, safe storage, and includes written exam plus live-fire test. Requires prior handgun knowledge.

Specialty Courses: - Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals (situational awareness, conflict avoidance, physiological effects of violent encounters, legal aftermath) - Church Safety – Protecting Your Congregation (threat identification, emergency ops planning, trauma response) - Kids and Firearms: A Safe & Responsible Approach (age-appropriate education for children) - Countering the Mass Shooter Threat (uses data from 48 mass shootings; for schools, daycares, businesses, families) - Real Estate Agent Safety & Self-Defense (job-specific threat recognition, situational awareness, armed/unarmed/less-lethal options)

• •Self-Defense and Aftermath: What YOU Need to Know – Covers when to fight, the 4 legal criteria for deadly force, how your body responds under stress, and what happens when police arrive.
• •Don't Be a Victim – Situational awareness, reducing victimization risk in public and at home, home security measures. Open to all ages including teenagers.
