Headquarters Outfitters is a Type 07 FFL in Manor, just northeast of Austin, handling firearm transfers for online purchases. Since 2013, they've been the receiving point for shooters buying guns across the internet and needing local FFL processing.

This is transfer-focused operation, not a retail gun counter. If you bought a firearm online from an out-of-state dealer, HqO processes the paperwork and background check on your end.

Transfer fees: - $25 for the first firearm - $20 for each additional firearm on the same 4473 form - Veterans, active duty military, LEO, and first responders get $20 for the first firearm

If you hold a valid Texas LTC/CHL, you skip the NICS background check entirely. The whole process typically takes under 10 minutes.

• •Consignment sales — Sell your firearm through HqO for a 20% commission once it sells. You set the price.
• •Outbound shipping — Need to ship a firearm you sold? HqO handles it for $35 plus carrier costs.
• •Storage — Free storage for 30 days. After that, $20/month kicks in.

Bring a valid Texas driver's license or government-issued photo ID showing your current address. If your ID is expired or the address is wrong, you'll need supplemental proof of residence before they can complete the transfer.

Allow up to 24 hours for HqO to process incoming shipments. Send tracking info if you have it—not required, but it helps. They'll contact you to set up the actual transfer appointment.
