Full description and what we offer
Texas Helicopter Pig Hunting operates the only full-time helicopter hog hunting business in the United States. Since 1992, they've been in the hunting business. Since 2011, they've specialized exclusively in aerial feral hog eradication from their base at Divided Find Ranch & Lodge in San Angelo, Texas—just 15 minutes from the airport.
They hunt 365 days a year, 7 days a week with a permanent staff that lives on the property. This isn't a seasonal operation. Feral hogs breed year-round with no mating season, so there's always work to do.
"We hunt over 2.5 million acres of private land in Central and West Texas."
The lack of heavy foliage in West Texas means better visibility during spring and summer months when other helicopter operations are closed. Their pilots fly nearly every day, so they know the terrain better than anyone.
You have two options when you book: - Suppressed Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 AR-15 with unlimited ammunition - Benelli 12-Gauge Shotgun with unlimited ammunition
All firearms are cleaned and maintained daily by their armorer staff. No personal weapons allowed—safety is non-negotiable on helicopters.
They operate eight R-44 helicopters (the source mentions two in primary service, with expansion capacity). Every aircraft is FAA-inspected and serviced every 100 hours by certified mechanics. Their helicopters are stored in a private hangar on the ranch.
Notable aircraft: - N223PK - "The .223 Pig Killer," their newest addition - N997SR - One of two primary R-44s in service

Want something different? Jump on a UTV and hunt wild game with a modern bow and arrow. It's "back to basics" hunting after the adrenaline of aerial hunts.
Every position is full-time, year-round:
Texas has 2.6 million feral hogs—more than anywhere else in the United States. These invasive species cause $400 million in annual damage statewide and $52 million specifically in agricultural damage.
Feral hogs compete with endangered native wildlife and cause massive property damage. The USDA has allocated $75 million through its Feral Swine Eradication and Control Pilot Program for this exact problem.
