Texas License to Carry (LTC) Certification - 5-hour classroom course at Eagle Gun Range (14400 Midway Road, Farmers Branch, Texas 75244) - Includes 50 rounds of new ammunition, semi-automatic pistol use, eye/ear protection - Range qualification with B-27 targets, scoring requirement of 175/250 - Certificate of Completion (Form LTC-100) issued upon passing - Fingerprinting and state application fees handled separately through Identogo
Defensive Pistol Instruction - One-on-one and small group sessions - Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) courses - Personal Protection Inside the Home certification - Personal Protection Outside the Home certification - Pistol, rifle, and shotgun training
Texas School Safety Certification Course This is a Texas Department of Public Safety-approved, two-day (15+ hour) program designed for educators. Key topics include: - Protection of students and denying intruder entry - Interaction with first responders during emergencies - Tactics for increasing accuracy under duress - Scenario training with non-lethal ammunition (Ultimate Training Munitions) - Advanced 200-round live-fire proficiency testing - Classroom defense using common items

Range Qualification Requirements: - 3 yards: 1 shot in 2 seconds (×5), 2 shots in 3 seconds (×5), 5 shots in 10 seconds (×1) - 7 yards: 5 shots in 10 seconds (×1), 2 shots in 4 seconds (×1), 3 shots in 6 seconds (×1), 1 shot in 3 seconds (×5), 5 shots in 15 seconds (×1) - 15 yards: 2 shots in 6 seconds (×1), 3 shots in 9 seconds (×1), 5 shots in 15 seconds (×1) - Passing score: 175 points out of 250
New shooters with minimal experience should take a beginner course before LTC training. The 5-hour LTC course assumes you know basic grip, stance, and aiming fundamentals.
LTC Renewal Changes (as of 9/1/13): Texas eliminated the classroom and shooting requirements for renewals. You renew every 5 years by submitting an online application directly to the Texas Department of Public Safety with an informational form on current firearms and deadly force laws. No class, no range qualification needed.

Contact Just Shoot Safely through their website or call to enroll in courses. Bring your state ID, driver's license, or Texas identification card to class. No personal firearms or ammunition in the classroom—all equipment is provided.
