Full description and what we offer
Right 2 Defend LLC operates firearms training programs in Fort Worth for shooters at every level—from people picking up a gun for the first time to law enforcement and military personnel. Their curriculum focuses on what actually works: safety, marksmanship fundamentals, defensive techniques, and legal knowledge.
Their standard course lineup includes:
Right 2 Defend offers three formats:
Group Classes - Learn alongside other students in a structured curriculum
Private One-on-One Instruction - Personalized pacing for your skill level and goals
Customized Curriculum - For groups or individuals with specific needs (corporate teams, security details, families)
Flexible scheduling means day, evening, and weekend options to fit your calendar.
Their instructors aren't just reading from a manual. They're knowledgeable about Texas law, defensive scenarios, and shooting fundamentals. The focus is on practical skills you can actually use, not just test-taking.
They emphasize: - Small group sizes so you get individual attention - Real-world application over rote memorization - Safety as the absolute priority - Personalized instruction that meets YOU where you are
Right 2 Defend also runs an FFL (Federal Firearms License) transfer service. If you buy a firearm from another dealer online, they can process the transfer.
Transfer Details: - Dealer-to-dealer transfers only (no individual-to-individual transfers) - 24-hour turnaround once received - Does not accept NFA items (suppressors, short-barrel rifles, etc.) - Requires valid Texas Driver's License or ID with current address for pickup - Military personnel can use CAC and PCS orders if no Texas ID - The actual firearm owner must complete the 4473 form - Peak season processing may take up to 48 hours
How the Transfer Works: 1. Fill out their FFL transfer request form with dealer and firearm information 2. They send their FFL to the selling dealer 3. Firearm ships to Right 2 Defend 4. They process it into their system (24 hours minimum) 5. They call you when it's ready for pickup
