Team Swamp Stomp LLC started in 2011 as a group of friends hunting for fun. In 2017, they formalized the business and have been expanding ever since. Today, their guides carry nearly 200 years of combined hunting experience across multiple species and terrain types.
They don't just run hunts—they solve problems. Landowners call when invasive hogs devastate their property. Team Swamp Stomp shows up with trained dogs, thermal gear, and rifles to eliminate the problem while giving hunters an unforgettable experience.
"Me and my 14 year old son just did a thermal hog hunt with Team Swamp Stomp. Could not have asked for a better experience or a nicer group of people. Literally fifteen minutes after we get out of the truck we're already looking at 10+ hogs through our thermal scopes." — Mark Routson

Hunt 15+ different East Texas properties ranging from a few acres to over 2,000 acres. Mix of lease land and properties where landowners want hogs removed. Access to low-fence and hunting preserve land.
Wild hog population is booming. Trail cameras show excessive numbers of small hogs and piglets. Guides have taken 30+ trophy boars for taxidermy in the first half of 2025 alone. Team Swamp Stomp expects their busiest year on record and maintains a 100% success rate.
Custom rifles pieced together with Timber Creek accessories. Scopes are Pulsar, Infiray, or AGM thermal units—all zeroed at 75 yards by their guides. No issue switching between shooters on digital screens.
East Texas is home to an estimated 3 million wild hogs (largest population in the US). Breeding occurs around November with piglets dropping in February-March. Gestation period: 3 months, 3 weeks, 3 days. Average sounder size: 5-10 hogs, up to 20-30 in larger groups. Finding them requires serious work—Team Swamp Stomp puts out 150+ pounds of bait per hunt.
Wild hog meat is safe to eat. Smaller and medium-sized pigs are ideal (boars over 150 lbs less desirable). Guides enjoy pork tacos, breakfast sausage, and pepper-cheese hog wraps.
