Greater Houston Sports Club sits on 290 acres south of downtown Houston, established in 1959. The course layout includes a sporting clays course with 10 to 15 shooting stations, a skeet field, a 5-stand set of five shooting cages, a trap layout with five stations, and a FITASC course shot low-gun from three peg locations.
The club has been named NSSA/NSCA All Around Club of the Year multiple times, along with NSSA Large Club of the Year and Texas Club of the Year honors, and hosts events including the Texas State Skeet Championship and Best of Texas tournaments. Instructors on staff provide shooting lessons at the facility.
