PSC Shooting Club isn't just a place to shoot. It's a member-run community built around competition, training, and camaraderie. They host regular matches, formal instruction, and social events—all designed to keep shooters engaged and improving.
The club runs a full calendar of organized shooting events:
| Match Type | Details |
|---|---|
| AR-15 Matches | Regular AR platform competitions |
| USPSA Matches | United Practical Shooting Association format |
| Steel Challenge | Speed and accuracy on steel targets |
| Pistol Plate Matches | Timed handgun events |
| Outlaw Matches | Non-sanctioned format competitions |
| Night Shoot | Evening range events |
| 3-Gun | Multi-gun tactical competition |
The PSC Juniors Program introduces younger shooters to the sport with age-appropriate training and competition opportunities.
- •Basic Handgun Skills Class is the club's flagship offering. The ladies-only version is popular and frequently scheduled, though coed sessions also run regularly. Fee: $99 for members/spouses, $125 for non-members.
The Basic Handgun class also serves as the range qualification for Texas LTC (License to Carry). Students can now take the range portion at PSC and complete their LTC training online—a new option following recent Texas DPS regulation changes.
Basic Handgun is a prerequisite for the Intermediate Handgun Skills I and II courses (unless waived).
The club uses a smart badge system for entry. Members scan their badge at the gate to log in—this is required for insurance purposes and takes just a moment. The system ensures accurate records of who's using the facility.
Safety is paramount. The club temporarily banned SIG P320 handguns from its property due to ongoing safety concerns with some units from that manufacturer. The ban will be lifted once the issue is resolved.
