Texas Legends Gun Range and Training Center

Texas Legends operates out of 1499 Central Expressway North in Allen with enough infrastructure to handle serious shooters. The facility breaks down as:

• •16 pistol-caliber lanes (15 yard)
• •11 tactical bays (25 yard for pistols, rifles, shotguns)
• •3 dedicated rifle-only lanes (50 yard)

All lanes feature dynamic and programmable Action Target Carriers. The range stays open 10 AM to 9 PM every day.

Handgun rentals start at $10 and go up to $25 for rifles and shotguns. The rental fleet includes:

Essentials like eye and ear protection run $2-5 each. The Handgun Package includes your lane fee plus all $10 handgun rentals (2 at a time)—good deal if you want to try multiple guns.

The Texas License to Carry class covers legal carry locations, self-defense laws, Texas weapons statutes, and firearms safety. It includes both classroom and live-fire qualification.

NSSF First Shots is specifically designed for complete beginners and includes all gear and instruction.

Private Instruction covers everything from safety fundamentals to advanced drills: marksmanship fixes, draw practice, reloads, controlled pairs, target transitions, shooting on the move.

Experience Competition teaches IDPA/USPSA match formats—movement, cover use, multi-target engagement, and running a full stage with an IDPA Safety Officer and Match Director.

Security Academy provides full Level III Certification (License No. F24081901) or renewal training with use-of-force instruction, firearms proficiency, and conflict resolution.

Texas Legends holds an active FFL license for transfers and NFA items.

FFL Transfers In (buying online): - $25 per serial number (without Texas LTC) - $15 per serial number (with Texas LTC) - Typical turnaround: 2–4 hours, up to 48 - Requires government photo ID + proof of Texas residency - NICS check included (15–45 minutes typical) - Under 21? Mandatory 10-day waiting period

FFL Transfers Out: $25 + shipping if sending to another dealer. Does NOT ship to California, New York, Illinois, or Massachusetts.

NFA Items (Suppressors, Short-Barrel Rifles): Partners with SilencerShop. Consignment Sales: Selling a gun? Texas Legends displays it and takes 10% of the first 30 days' sale price, then 20% after. Firearms stored in their A&D books, returned with ATF 4473 if needed.
