Full description and what we offer
Terry Anderson founded San Gorgonio Wilderness Outfitters on a simple principle: share the hunting experience with others who respect it. Since 1984, the outfit has built a reputation on deep local knowledge and consistent trophy success.
Anderson's background sets them apart. Twenty-plus years ranching on the east side of the San Bernardino Mountains, coupled with three years working directly for California Fish & Game as a scientific aide, gave him expertise most outfitters don't have. That fieldwork—bighorn sheep and deer captures, aerial surveys, daily range monitoring—directly contributed to the first Desert Bighorn hunt in the San Gorgonio Mountains in over 100 years, which occurred in 1996/97.

"The decision to hire a guide/outfitter is a big commitment. This commitment is one of trust and financial investment."
Many clients return year after year—they've become lifelong friends rather than one-time customers. That says something about how they run hunts.
