Sharp Shooter HQ started in 1981 when twin brothers Kent and Brent Roberts launched Inventive Technology at the base of Mt. Timpanogos. When Brent passed away in 2011, Kent and his son Brad Roberts took over as Sharp Shooter HQ—keeping the same mission: manufacturing innovative rifle rests, shooting benches, and archery equipment that actually work.
"We have marksmen who shoot prairie dogs at 400 yards and 12-inch steel gongs at 1,000 yards with our rests."

From Kent Roberts testimonial: His son-in-law is a western big game hunting outfitter. After using the Ground Hog rifle rest to sight in clients' rifles, his clients started taking antelope and plains whitetail deer at over 700 yards. Now he runs Ground Hog rests at all his hunting camps.
A West Virginia hunter shot a whitetail at 730 yards using the Ground Hog rest. :::
Customer Jack Cunningham (verified): "I saw a neighbor using one of these rests. I had to have one. They are very heavy duty. The frame is larger, the screws are much larger than any rest I have ever saw...Sharp Shooter got these right."
