Full description and what we offer
Inuit Outfitter is a family-run hunting operation based in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, near the Arctic Circle. They've been booking trophy hunts for musk ox and caribou since 1996, and their guides have lifelong experience hunting and living in Greenlandic wilderness.
- •Musk ox trophy hunts (archery and rifle)
- •Caribou hunts (archery and rifle)
- •Fishing expeditions in Sisimiut
- •Wildlife photo safaris for non-hunters
Hunters stay at their camp in Perserajuut, their main hunting area. They run two cabins:
- •Lodge — dining and meeting space
- •Guest cabin — sleeps up to 6 guests in 4 rooms (2 single beds each)
Both cabins sit near a mountain overlooking a freshwater lake fed by the ice cap. Meals feature traditional Greenlandic cooking with prepared breakfasts. The guest cabin has fully heated showers.
Inuit Outfitter takes a strict, sustainable approach:
- •Hunt only what's needed, not everything visible
- •Maintain active dialogue with Greenland's government on wildlife populations
- •Committed to long-term animal conservation for future generations
- •Focus on leading hunters to quality trophies, not just any kill
Available seasons: Spring and Fall (2026 onward). Contact them to inquire about dates, group size, and pricing. They ask for at least 4 months' notice for cancellations with deposit refund (minus €500 admin fee). If a hunter doesn't encounter a trophy situation, they reimburse €750. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
