Their course lineup breaks into three skill levels:
Fundamentals (Starting Out) - Handgun Fundamentals: 2 hours, $125–$200. Covers grip, stance, trigger control, sight alignment, and reloading. Recommended before taking the LTC test. 100 rounds required. - Carbine Fundamentals: 4 hours, $200–$350. Long gun selection, sight-in, malfunction drills, multiple target engagement. 300 rounds, semi-auto rifle (.223, 7.62, or 9mm+). Max 15 students.
Intermediate (Building Skills) - Handgun Essentials: 4 hours, $200–$350. Drawing from holster, multiple shots, recoil management. 250 rounds. Bridges the gap between basics and advanced courses. - Low Light Handgun I: 3 hours, $200–$350. The FBI reports 80% of shootings happen in low or no light. This course covers flashlight use, night sights, weapon-mounted lights, and team tactics. 200 rounds.
Advanced (Tactical Work) - Tactical Handgun I: $250. Unconventional positions and real-world scenarios. - Tactical Handgun II: $250. Follow-up to Handgun I. More difficult drills and challenging positions. - Tactical Carbine: $250. Moving and shooting with the carbine, use of cover, unconventional positions. - Family Protection Course: 4 hours, $200. Real-world scenarios for protecting yourself and others—spouse, kids, coworkers, bystanders.
The standard LTC course: 4 hours classroom + range time. Covers state/federal law, gun ownership, use of force, non-violent conflict resolution, safe storage, and a written + live-fire exam. Qualifies you to carry in 32 states. $99 for public classes (range fee included). For private groups (minimum 4, max 25 students), $99 + your choice of range. If you have 10+ acres, they can often use your property to skip the range fee.

Before registering for LTC or advanced courses: If you have no prior shooting experience or doubt you can pass the shooting qualification without coaching, take Handgun Fundamentals first. Minimal shooting instruction time is built into the LTC class itself—they need that 4 hours mostly for classroom content.
Signate Strategic operates as an affiliate of JWM Tactical Training and Protection Services.
