Ernest and Henry Parro opened their first gun shop in 1983 with just 6 firearms on a card table. What started as a side operation (while Henry worked law enforcement) became a full incorporation in 1988 as Parro's Gun Shop & Police Supplies Inc. Today, they operate a 10,800 square foot retail location in the Waterbury Village Historic District with an attached indoor shooting range—the first public facility of its kind in Vermont.
