Deerfield Valley Sportsmen's Club, originally established as the Wilmington Rod & Gun Club, is located at 641 Fowler Road in Whitingham, Vermont, and has served the community for nearly 50 years. It is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit 501(c)(4) organization offering rifle, shotgun, trap, and archery shooting.
The club runs hunter education courses, youth programs and scholarships, and hosts private parties. Its facilities are open to the public, and members meet monthly at the clubhouse.
Restrictions
- •Members only (guests must be accompanied by member, maximum 2 per visit)
- •No fully automatic weapons
- •No explosive rounds or targets
- •No alcoholic beverages or intoxicating substances
- •No vehicles on the range
- •Shooting hours: Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM to sunset; Sunday 10:00 AM to 30 minutes before sunset
- •All non-shooters must remain behind line of fire
- •No bottles or cans as targets
