Deerfield Valley Sportsmen's Club

The Deerfield Valley Sportsmen's Club is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit shooting and outdoor recreation facility located in Whitingham, Vermont. Nearly 50 years of community service.

Originally established as the Wilmington Rod & Gun Club, the Deerfield Valley Sportsmen's Club is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a welcoming environment for firearms enthusiasts and their families. Located at 641 Fowler Road in Whitingham, Vermont, the club has served the local community for nearly five decades.

The club maintains multiple ranges supporting diverse shooting disciplines:

• •Rifle range - Dedicated rifle shooting
• •Archery range - Bow and arrow practice
• •Trap/Skeet shooting - including the annual Gerald Green Memorial Trap Shoot Competition
• •Guest privileges - Members may bring up to two accompanied guests

The club operates as a membership-based facility. Annual membership dues are $100 ($75 early-bird rate January-April 15). Active-duty military, police, firefighters, and first responders receive a 75% discount ($25). Family memberships include spouse and children under 18.

As of January 1, 2026, all memberships must be managed through the club's secure online registration system. Membership expires December 31 annually and can be renewed through December 31 of the following year.

Beyond recreational shooting, the club offers:
