Most students don't just need one permit—they want reciprocal coverage across states. 2nd Amend Training structures courses as "bundle style," meaning the price stays the same whether you're applying for two permits or five:

Instructor courses are coming soon.
DC, Maryland, and New York courses require 16 hours total—delivered as two 8-hour weekend sessions. Instruction covers firearm safety, defensive shooting techniques, legal use-of-force considerations, and live fire exercises.
No firearm experience required. If you've never shot before, you start with a laser pistol to learn fundamentals, then progress to live firearms with supervision. 2nd Amend Training provides all guns needed for class.
DC, Maryland, and New York switched to "shall issue" jurisdictions, meaning self-defense alone is a valid reason to apply—no special justification needed. Those with prior military training may qualify for exemptions on DC and Maryland permit requirements.
Non-residency: You don't need to live in DC, Maryland, or New York to obtain a permit from 2nd Amend Training.

Payment plans are available at checkout through Affirm and Apple Pay (subject to approval). This removes the barrier of paying full tuition upfront.
Instead of charging different prices for overlapping permits, 2nd Amend Training bundles permits strategically. Get a Virginia permit? Add Utah, Florida, and Pennsylvania reciprocals at the same price. This approach recognizes that modern gun owners often travel or relocate.
Courses are designed for real-world application—defensive positioning, decision-making under stress, and legal frameworks matter as much as marksmanship.
