Full description and what we offer
The Airgun Sporting Association exists to represent the interests of airgun hunters and competitors at the state and national level. They track regulation changes, mobilize hunters to comment on proposed rule changes, and maintain current hunting laws for each state.
ASA is actively supporting Virginia airgun hunters seeking expanded hunting seasons. Currently, Virginia allows airguns (.35 caliber and above) during the two-week rifle season. The state is proposing regulation changes to the four-week muzzleloader season, and ASA is mobilizing hunters to request that airguns be included.
"Today's large bore airguns are comparable in range and accuracy to the muzzleloaders of 30 years ago." – ASA advocacy guidance
The organization handles regulatory comments at the state level, but emphasizes that home-state hunters' voices carry the most weight with game agencies.
If you hunt with airguns in your state, ASA membership keeps you informed about regulation changes before they happen—and provides the tools to weigh in when it matters.
Find them on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn for regular updates on hunting seasons, regulations, and competition news.
