Armed & Confident is built on a simple mission: eliminate the fear of firearms so you can protect yourself and your family with confidence.
- •NRA Certified Pistol Instructor Vickie Elder teaches out of Lynchburg and surrounding areas. She focuses on what actually matters—safety, fundamentals, and skill.
- •Firearm safety and proper handling
- •Handgun anatomy (revolvers and semi-automatics)
- •Grip, stance, aiming, trigger control, follow-through
- •Loading and unloading techniques
- •Clearing basic jams and malfunctions
- •Situational awareness and conflict avoidance
- •Virginia concealed carry laws

- •Virginia CCW Classes satisfy all training requirements for concealed carry permits. Next class: February 28, 2026 (10am–12:30pm).
