BangSteel Long Range Shooting School

BangSteel operates in the mountains of southwestern Virginia near Wytheville, offering 1000+ yard long-range rifle training to shooters of all ages and experience levels. Their core philosophy rejects what they call "cyber-shooting"—the heavy reliance on electronics for shot solutions—in favor of faster, more practical methods.

Many long-range schools are primarily in the business of selling equipment modifications. BangSteel believes you can make legitimate 1000-yard shots with a rifle from any major retailer and a quality scope. You don't need five grand invested to start.

They're direct about one thing: shooting at game demands proper training so misses and poor hits are extremely unlikely. That's the entire point. They teach you to understand your rifle's limitations, your ammunition's performance, and your own personal capabilities—then show you how to exceed what you thought possible.
