Full description and what we offer
Started in December 2004, Potts Creek Outfitters was built on a simple goal: create a real hunting environment for both experts and first-timers. The owners brought in forestry and wildlife management specialists to design the operation from scratch—feed plots, clear cuts for access, and habitat work that actually shows results.

Customer Base Repeat hunters who started as beginners 8+ years ago and keep coming back. Families who hunt together year after year. The operation runs like a tight community—guides know you by name after the first trip.
The Mountain Setting Hunting areas sit in the Potts Mountain range of the Alleghany Mountains. Steep, rocky terrain covered in mature hardwood forest. You're hunting real wild country, not a cookie-cutter property. The landscape handles overflow hunting pressure naturally because terrain makes it less accessible than flat ground.
