## Guided Hunts Across 90 Square Miles of Pine Ridge Indian Reservation
SOBO's LLC is a veteran-owned, Native American-run hunting outfitter operating in the South Dakota Badlands near Scenic. Owner Nate Sobolewski is a 20-year Air Force veteran who grew up hunting in Southwest South Dakota and now guides hunters across nearly 90 square miles of tribal and state land on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.
Hunt Types Available
- •Antelope (Pronghorn) - Fair-chase pronghorn hunts in challenging badlands and prairie terrain. Customers regularly take world-class antelope on the reservation.
- •Turkey - Both archery and shotgun hunts for wild Merriam turkeys. The reservation has an abundance of birds across thousands of acres.
- •Prairie Dog Shooting - Guided prairie dog hunts with access to dog towns on both state and tribal land. Hunters typically shoot 300-400 rounds per day with provided shooting bags and rests. Multiple locations available if targets get sparse.
- •Predator Hunting - Predator hunts across the extensive acreage (mountain lion encounters documented at 50 yards).
- •Deer Hunting - Access to mule deer and whitetail deer across the reservation.
Shooting Range
SOBO's operates an 1100-yard outdoor shooting range with target locations from 100 to 1100 yards. One lane available for exclusive, hourly reservations. (Note: Range closed until Spring 2026.)
Lodging & Camping
- •RV Sites - Seasonal availability May 1 through Labor Day (weather permitting) with hookups.
- •Cabins - Overnight lodging available for hunting parties.
- •Saloon - On-site saloon for hunters and guests.
What Sets SOBO's Apart
"Not only do they work hard to give you an opportunity to make your shot, but they also provide a complete experience that is second to none. Your guides are professional, personable, and truly care about you and your hunt." — Tom Swift, 75-year-old repeat hunter
- •Veteran & Youth Priority - Military discounts offered. Youth hunters and veterans get special consideration for bookings.
- •Family Atmosphere - Nate welcomes hunters into his home and family experience, not just a transactional hunt.
- •Deep Local Knowledge - Nate has hunted these badlands his entire life and knows animal movement patterns, terrain, and trophy locations intimately.
- •Semi-Guided Model - Hunters maintain independence while benefiting from guide expertise and land access.
- •Fair-Chase Hunting - All hunts emphasize ethical, challenging fair-chase methods rather than ranch-style shooting.
