Summit Springs Shooting Sports occupies 135 acres in Ferrum, Virginia, and operates as a serious clay and centerfire shooting facility. They're not a casual range—they host NSCA registered competitions and run organized events throughout the year.
Two fully automated sporting clays courses (recreational and competition level), plus 5-stand, I-trap, modified bunker trap, upland angles, and skeet. For rifle and pistol shooters, there's a 25-yard graveled pistol range and a .22 smallbore rifle range. The clubhouse includes a pro shop, shooter's lounge, and education center.
They have an NSCA Level II shooting instructor and NRA-certified staff offering courses in:

NSCA registered shoots throughout the year: Frigid Bowl (Feb), Moonshine Jug (April), June Bug (June), Fall Fun Shoot (Sept), Halloween Claytacular (Oct), Turkey Shoot (Nov). Members' Picnic in August.
Ammunition available on site. Shotgun rentals, rifle rentals, and push carts available. Eye and ear protection required and provided.
