Burbank operates as a hunt club (converted from a guide service) specializing in duck and goose hunting across private properties in Burbank, Washington. The operation sits at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers—a natural flyway that keeps migrating waterfowl moving through their fields all season.
The rivers bring the birds. The fields keep them.
Burbank sits only 500 feet above sea level despite being 500 miles inland, creating a microclimate with minimal snow and moving water that holds birds from early season through late. The region's circle-irrigated crops (corn, barley, wheat) and terrain protection from surrounding mountains create conditions that consistently produce limits.
Hunt Club Membership - Limited openings available. Smaller groups (typically 5 hunters plus a guide) compared to the previous guide service model.
Daily Limits - 7 ducks or 4 geese per day. Hunters regularly fill these limits from season opening through close.
Equipment & Setup - Custom in-ground pits for goose hunting - Maximus portable blinds for duck hunting - DropZone Elite and Full Curl custom decoys (known for realism) - Close-range decoy shooting—birds lock wings and sail in; no pass shooting

Paul Sullivan, owner and chief guide ("honkerguide"), personally oversees all hunt details. The operation manages owned properties and leases additional fields from neighboring farmers. Daily scouting ensures guides know exactly where birds are feeding. Crop rotation and field management prevent over-pressuring areas.
Hunts are 25 minutes from the airport, with discounted rates at local 4-star hotels. Quality hunting happens right in the heartland of the Columbia Basin lowlands.
Book early. Dates fill quickly, especially for Paul's Ponds (their signature waterfowl location). Many hunters book the following season before leaving.
