Full description and what we offer
Farm Out Range is a premier shooting facility located between Cheney and Sprague, Washington, operated by Match Director Bob Hamilton. This relatively new range is home to the 2024 PRS NW Regional Finale and specializes in precision rifle competitions and training.
Farm Out Range offers engaging courses of fire with targets ranging from 400 to 900 yards, providing shooters of all skill levels opportunities to test their precision rifle abilities. The range is actively under development, with Bob Hamilton continuously building and adding new features and stages each month. The facility caters to both competitive match shooters and recreational precision rifle enthusiasts.
The range hosts: - PRS (Precision Rifle Series) matches – Sanctioned and unsanctioned precision rifle competitions - PRS Rimfire matches – Fun .22 caliber plinking steel events perfect for new shooters and practice - Long-range rifle shooting – Courses of fire designed to challenge various shooting disciplines - Training opportunities – Access to experienced match directors and coaching
Loaner rifles are available for new shooters interested in trying the sport, making the range accessible to beginners without personal equipment.
One of Farm Out Range's standout features is Mama J's food service, available after matches. Participants are encouraged to stick around post-match to enjoy good meals and fellowship with the shooting community.
Farm Out Range operates under Northwest Rifles, part of the Washington Shooting Sports and Industry Coalition—a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Tacoma. The organization's mission is to grow the precision rifle shooting sport, make it accessible to new shooters, and provide a platform for match directors throughout the Pacific Northwest.
