Full description and what we offer
The International Steel Shooting Association is a non-profit organization that runs competitive steel shooting matches both indoors and outdoors across the United States and Europe. Unlike paper-based competition, steel shooting targets produce an immediate audible and visual response—they "ding" when hit. This feedback transforms the shooting experience and adds what competitors call a huge "fun factor."
International Steel matches are designed to be accessible. All shots are intentionally easy enough that newer shooters with basic skills will succeed. Your score is time—the faster you shoot all targets cleanly, the better your result. The challenge isn't the difficulty of individual shots; it's maintaining speed while staying accurate. Miss a target, and you shoot again, adding time to your run. Seasoned competitors shoot "on the edge," constantly balancing velocity and precision.
"The difficulty of International Steel competition is not the difficulty of the shot itself. Your score is the time it takes for you to shoot all of the targets, so the faster shooter wins."
