Lower Snake Outfitters runs guided hunts across the Lower Snake River breaks near Pasco, where mule deer migration and upland game create consistent hunting opportunities. Kennan VanHollebeke and his family have spent two decades learning this terrain—the vegetation patterns, migration timing, and animal behavior that separate a good hunt from a great one.
"Over 20 years of experience and knowledge hunting this land."
The property spans multiple habitat types: young winter wheat, wheat stubble, CRP grasslands, and sagebrush. Most deer migrate down from the north starting mid-October, though local herds stay year-round. By muzzleloader season, the rut is in full swing and the country is loaded with deer.
Weather matters, but only occasionally. In 20 years, they've seen just 2 drought years that impacted migration—and hunters still connected during those years.
