Full description and what we offer
National Wing & Clay Shooting School operates two branches—the Northwest Shooting School (established 1994, serving Washington and Oregon) and the National Shooting School (established 1997, operating nationwide and internationally). Both offer identical programs with the same approach: instruction tailored to each shooter's specific needs and skill level.
The school covers all wing and clay shooting methods, including: - Instinctive/point and shoot - Pass through and maintained lead - Pull away and specialized techniques - Shooting to the lead and the bayonet method
They teach sporting clays, 5-stand, trap, skeet, and FITASC. Hunters learn to improve success with pheasants, chukar, quail, ducks, and geese—including pass shooting waterfowl and doves.
Bob Knopf, NSCA-certified chief instructor, authored Wing & Clay Shooting Made Easy. He's hunted waterfowl and upland birds across the U.S. for more than 30 years and has worked with hundreds of shooters.
Instructor fees and travel to the facility are covered. Shooters provide their own ammo and pay club prices for targets. Loaner equipment—shotguns, shooting glasses, hearing protectors—is provided at no charge.
Booking: Schools require 6-8 registered shooters. An $85 advance deposit reserves your spot. Contact Bob Knopf at 360-798-798-1494 or [email protected] to schedule a clinic at your local club.
