Full description and what we offer
PNW Coast Guide Service specializes in guided hunts for hunters ready to learn. Founded by a Navy veteran and retired fire lieutenant with deep roots in Pacific Northwest hunting, the operation focuses on recruiting and educating new hunters rather than just filling tags.
"Recruit and educate new hunters on hunting etiquette, hunting ethics, hunting regulations, and hunting tactics while ensuring every client has a successful, enjoyable and memorable fair chase hunting adventure."
The guide learned these lessons the hard way—he spent 13 years in the Navy away from hunting, then spent years studying local game species and developing skills after moving to Washington in 2001. Now he teaches what he learned to hunters eager to build confidence and competence.
Clients receive hands-on education in: - Hunting ethics and fair chase principles - Area selection and permit navigation - Trail camera setup and ground blinds - Rifle, bow, and muzzleloader techniques - Navigation and wilderness safety
All hunts take place on public land or private timber company land with open public access—foot, bike, or vehicle entry on the Olympic Peninsula.
