Shooting Classes and Events

This Washington-based training outfit specializes in CCW certification courses recognized across Maryland, DC, and Utah. Their core 16-hour Wear & Carry program covers state firearm law, home safety, handgun mechanics, and live-fire proficiency testing (70% accuracy minimum required). Renewals run 8 hours.

Defensive Pistol Level 1 – Build body mechanics, muscle memory, and self-defense confidence. Covers unexpected situations and urban scenarios. Eye/ear protection included; ammo and targets are separate.

Home Defense Shotgun 101 – Covers shotgun types, gauges, safety, Class III considerations, and ammunition selection. Hands-on familiarization with different models and live-fire exercises. Shotgun rentals available. Cost: $100.

AR Carbine 101 – 4-hour intro course ($95) covering operation, function, safety, equipment placement, zeroing optics, mounting, and maintenance. Instructor Jon "Doc" Willoughby brings 25+ years military, law enforcement, and protective services experience. Ammo: $16.95 per 50 rounds (223 only).

Indoor tin can and bottle shoots July 18th and December 18th (5pm–7pm). Annual members $20, non-members $30. Preregistration required.
