Scrimshaw Workshop with Kathy England - -12 , 2026

Student Info 3 day workshop - beginners welcome! Class fee $360, plus an additional fee for  materials and a set of tools to take home.  Students should bring a powder horn to work on - you'll discuss this with your instructor. Are you are a beginner looking to learn how to do decorative scrimshaw work to personalize your own pieces in a traditional manner? Or perhaps you have already tried your hand at scrimshaw, and you'd like to learn some new techniques from a well known professional artist. Coming this spring, both beginners and those with some experience can join scrimshaw artist Kathy England to learn her methods of scrimshaw work - everything from design to execution.
