Pe Ell Sportsmen's Club operates a membership shooting range focused on organized competitive shooting. The club hosts multiple match formats throughout 2026:

• •Blackpowder Matches: Second Sunday of each month
• •State Championships: Washington State Smallbore (Aug 29-30) and Highpower (Aug 15-16)
• •Conard Barnhart Match: April 25-26

The facility features dedicated shooting positions with structured match components. Rails and platforms serve specific purposes—smallbore, highpower, and blackpowder match use only. The range enforces detailed safety protocols including open actions until ready to shoot, muzzles pointed upward when handling, and designated lines for specific firearm types.

Key operational details: - Closed Mondays (including holidays) - Metal targets available for 400-500 yard magnum shooting - Separate pistol area at far right end of building - Light system for range management during downrange operations

The club maintains strict guidelines protecting match infrastructure and preventing damage. Full metal jacket and armored rounds permitted on paper targets only. Shooters must handle their own brass, particularly with AR-style rifles. Target placement restrictions and lockdown procedures protect the range's competitive equipment.
