Williams Flintlocks specializes in custom-built flintlock rifles, pistols, and fowlers that accurately recreate early American (Kentucky) long rifles. Tim Williams builds each firearm individually, paying equal attention to authentic styling and reliable performance.

Long rifles modeled after historic makers: Andreas Albrecht, J.P. Beck, Jacob Dickert, Adam Haymaker, and others from the Lancaster and York County traditions.

Pistols in American and British styles, including Bucks County and Early Virginia designs.

Fowlers for bird hunting, available in British-style and Bucks County profiles.

Each gun is custom-fit to your body and tailored to your aesthetic preferences—stock shape, wood type, and hardware all chosen for you.

All firearms use the finest American-made components: - Hand-selected quality stock blanks - FCI and Rice barrels - Chambers and Ditchburn locks - Brass cast butt plates and trigger guards - Hand-crafted side plates, nose caps, patch boxes, and thimbles made in-shop

Tim builds with this philosophy. His rifles are designed to reliably take game—whitetail in eastern mountains, moose in the Canadian bush, elk in high country, and buffalo on the plains.

Flintlock weapons were standard until the mid-1800s, then were replaced by percussion systems. Today they're used by re-enactors and hunters—many U.S. states have dedicated black-powder hunting seasons that include flintlock weapons. Modern manufacturers like Pedersoli, Euroarms, and Armi Sport continue producing them, but Williams builds originals from scratch.
