West Virginia Clays

West Virginia Clays, Inc. is one of West Virginia's premier skeet, trap, and 5-stand sporting clays clubs, proudly serving shooters of all skill levels. Located in the scenic mountains just 18 miles from downtown Charleston, West Virginia, the club opened for shooting on July 17, 2011, and has become a premier destination for clay target sports.

The club features three main shooting disciplines:

• •Skeet Shooting - Classic Olympic-style skeet courses for developing precision and consistency
• •Trap Shooting - Traditional trap layouts for honing long-range shooting skills
• •5-Stand Sporting Clays - Dynamic shooting scenarios that simulate real-world hunting situations

West Virginia Clays, Inc. welcomes the public—membership is not required to shoot. The club is available for:

• •Public shooting days and practice sessions
• •Corporate outings and team-building events
• •Private group events for any responsible organization
• •Scout and youth organization events including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and youth shooting programs
• •Special events like Grouse Society competitions and regional championships

The club's 1.3-mile gravel access road winds through pristine West Virginia mountains, offering opportunities to view native wildlife including deer, wild turkeys, black bears, bobcats, and coyotes. The scenic, secluded setting provides an exceptional shooting experience in nature.

All shooters receive a comprehensive safety briefing before their first session. Eye and ear protection is required for all shooters and spectators on the shooting fields. The club maintains strict safety protocols and reserves the right to prohibit individuals who violate safety rules.
