Full description and what we offer
Animal Art Taxidermy Studios LLC has been preserving hunting and fishing trophies since 1982. What started as a commitment to quality work at competitive prices with fast turnaround has become a go-to shop for serious hunters and anglers across Wisconsin.
Unlike most taxidermists who work part-time or as hobbyists, Animal Art operates as a full-time business. They have 2 dedicated taxidermists on staff, which means your trophy gets focused attention instead of sitting in a queue.
"They do absolutely amazing work, decent prices and are very customer friendly. They work with you to help you get what you want." — David B.
The numbers speak for themselves: - 4,000+ mounted deer - 3,000+ mounted fish - Hundreds of bears - All sizes of game from small game to big game
- •Deer shoulder mounts and full-body mounts
- •Fish mounts (freshwater and saltwater)
- •Bear mounts and other big game
- •Small game mounts
- •Antler mounts and European mounts (referred to Heads and Tails Taxidermy)
- •Turkey mounts (referred to Heads and Tails Taxidermy)
- •Bird taxidermy (referred to Heads and Tails Taxidermy)
- •Trophy preparation consultation
- •Free deer caping for unfrozen deer during deer season
One of their biggest value-adds: they'll walk you through how to properly prepare your trophy before you leave on your trip. Many hunters and anglers don't realize how easily a trophy can be ruined during field dressing or transport. Animal Art provides:
- •Measurement guidance
- •Proper skinning techniques
- •Safe transportation methods
- •Pamphlets and instructions for the field
- •Free caping service during deer season
Call before your hunt. A 10-minute conversation can save your trophy. Many hunters learn too late that poor field preparation can make a mount impossible.
Animal Art keeps prices competitive because they maintain current rates. Some other taxidermists charge you now for work they won't start for 1-3 years, which means you're paying based on outdated material and labor costs. At Animal Art, what you're quoted reflects actual current pricing.
In 2010, they partnered with Bill Beck of Heads and Tails Taxidermy. Bill completed his apprenticeship at Animal Art and now runs his own full-time shop. The partnership works like this:
- •Animal Art handles: Deer mounts, fish mounts, bears, and general game
- •Heads and Tails handles: Antler mounts, European mounts, turkey mounts, all bird taxidermy
Bill Beck is specifically known for quality European mounts. Between the two shops, they can handle nearly any taxidermy request.
- •Phone: (920) 251-5370
Location: Campbellsport, Wisconsin
Call to schedule an appointment. They maintain quick turnaround times by controlling their workload, so getting on their calendar early matters.
"Ryan at Animal Art Studio is an artist! Great job on my bear mount. His attention to detail is unmatched. Would recommend this company to anyone looking to get a mount done and also have a fast turnaround." — Rick B
