Founded in 1957, New Franken Sportsmen's Club operates shooting ranges dedicated to trapshooting, rifle marksmanship, and pistol competition. Located in New Franken with a mailing address in Green Bay, the club serves as a community resource for hunters, competitive shooters, and safety-minded sportsmen.
Trap League Shooting - Spring, summer, and fall leagues - League nights Tuesday-Thursday, 7:30 PM through dark (April-August) - No centerfire rifle shooting during trap league times to avoid interference with voice-activated pullers
Rifle Range - Daily hours: 9 AM to sunset - Dedicated sight-in days November-December (454 firearms sighted in recently) - Annual Buck Contest with prizes - Range rules posted and enforced - Security cameras on parking lot and range
Pistol League - Runs summer season every other Monday, 5:00 PM for 10 weeks - Cost: $55 for members, $45 annual membership - Stock pistols only: .380, .38, 9mm, .40, .45 - 2025 incorporates steel targets alongside IDPA-approved cardboard - Contact: Gary DeWinter, Pistol League Chairman, (920) 655-6007

Spring and fall classes through Wisconsin DNR partnership: - 6 hours classroom + field day - Free online course completion required before first class - Registration through Wisconsin DNR GoWild website (not club directly)
The club received a grant from the Northeast Wisconsin Friends of the NRA to support youth programming.
Run by active committees with dedicated volunteers managing trap, rifle, pistol, maintenance, and social events. Monthly membership meetings held throughout the year.
