Full description and what we offer
Since 1948, the North Branch Humbird Rod and Gun Club has been supporting local hunters, anglers, and their families across central Wisconsin. What started as a small group of dedicated outdoorsmen has grown into a pillar of the Humbird community—one that actively invests in conservation, youth programs, and local causes.
This is more than just a meeting place. The club runs multiple events throughout the year and maintains an active facility on the edge of beautiful Emerson Lake:
The club doesn't just organize fishing tournaments—they give back. Recent donations and community work include:
$8,000 donation to County Line Fire & Rescue (2024)
$1,500 donation to Lincoln High School FCCLA members traveling to nationals in Seattle
$1,100 donation to Lincoln High School Trap Shooting Club for ammunition and competition fees
Joining is straightforward and affordable:
| Membership Type | Cost |
|---|---|
| Annual (All) | $20 |
| Annual (Women) | $15 |
| Lifetime | $500 |
New members can join at monthly meetings (6:30pm, first Wednesday) or contact leadership directly. No experience required—they welcome seasoned hunters and first-timers alike.
Located at N2962 Main St, Humbird, WI, the clubhouse sits on Emerson Lake (also called "The Pond"). The property features plenty of parking and a picturesque setting ideal for events and gatherings.
This club operates on values that go beyond fishing and hunting: safety, respect for nature, adherence to regulations, and community support. They actively preserve habitats, promote responsible hunting practices, and make sure their local community thrives. Whether you're an experienced outdoorsman or exploring the sport for the first time, the North Branch Humbird Rod and Gun Club provides both camaraderie and purpose.
