Jefferson County 4H runs a muzzleloader and .22 pistol shoot at Oconomowoc Sportsmans Club. This is your chance to work with black powder rifles and pistols—whether you're dialing in a flintlock, percussion cap, or inline gun, or just want to see what the discipline is about.
Shooters fire at targets to build accuracy with period-correct or modern muzzleloading setups. It's practical work: learning to load, handle, and shoot these firearms effectively. If you hunt with black powder or want to understand the mechanical fundamentals, this event is straightforward training.
