  • RIB has introduced over 1,000 new archers in recent years

As of 2016, RIB expanded to welcome both traditional instinctive shooters AND sights-and-release archers as regular full-time members. The club's mission centers on promoting friendship, fellowship, and the sport of archery—both instinctive bowhunting and competitive archery.

Roy Case was the first person to legally shoot a whitetail deer in Wisconsin with a bow. RIB honors this legacy with the Roy Case Traditional Shoot and celebrates him as an honorary lifetime member of the club.

RIB also maintains connections to early archery pioneers. Fred Bear's 1941 Wisconsin whitetail hunt—using a custom Nels Grumley osage wood bow backed with rawhide—marked a milestone for bowhunting in the state. The club preserves archery history through its photo galleries and historical documentation.
