Conservation Club of Kenosha County operates Bristol Ranges, a multi-discipline shooting facility in southeastern Wisconsin with seven dedicated ranges handling everything from precision rifle work to cowboy action shooting.
Rifle & Pistol Range - Open-air with overhead shelter at all positions, heated waiting room, and indoor shooting benches for the 100/200 yard section.
Shotgun Range - Clay target shooting with an installed shot curtain that provides uniform background to enhance the experience. Trap fields, skeet field, and 5-stand setup.
Action Pistol - Competitive shooting program drawing everyone from beginners to seasoned competitors. Organized matches throughout the season.
High Power Rifle - Sanctioned matches and events for long-range precision shooting.
Archery - Both indoor and outdoor options with over 50 acres of cleared and wooded land directly across Highway AH from the clubhouse.
Airgun - Field Target Course with 25 shooting lanes in wooded setting. AAFTA-sanctioned sixty-shot matches held monthly during summer.
Specialty Ranges - Black Powder/Primitive Range, .22 Plinking area, and Cowboy Action Range (affiliated with Single Action Shooting Society).
Ranges can operate 9am-9pm depending on which facility. Check individual range pages for specific hours. All ranges closed on major national holidays. Concealed carry is not permitted on the ranges.
New shooters welcome. Each range maintains dedicated safety information and contact pages. The facility actively recruits volunteer Range Officers for shotgun range operations.
