Lost Creek Outfitters

Jimmy and Mike grew up on this Central Wyoming ranch—it's been their backyard since childhood. Their parents, Bill and Mary Owens, have run Owens Land and Livestock (red Angus cattle and domestic sheep) since 1989. When hunting season comes, the whole family shifts to outfitting mode.

The ranch is approximately 35 miles north of Casper toward Midwest, consisting of 80% deeded acreage and 20% BLM land. Exclusive leases on neighboring ranches mean you won't share territory with other outfitters. Hunts run from 4×4 vehicles and ATVs.

Comfortable lodging at the ranch, all meals provided, and access to the shooting range near headquarters

Mike (who builds custom rifles through Teapot Creek Precision Rifles) guides most hunts. Mary handles the main cook duties at elk camp. Sarah assists year-round with operations and logistics.
