Castagno Outfitters

Castagno Outfitters operates pack-in hunts across the Bridger-Teton and Shoshone National Forests. They hunt elk, deer, moose, antelope, black bear, and bighorn sheep using experienced mountain horses to track through high country.

The main Soda Fork camp in the Teton Wilderness holds six hunters per hunt. Bighorn sheep hunts use smaller spike camps—limited to two hunters—positioned high in the Washakie, Fitzpatrick, and Teton Wilderness areas.

Tents are heated with stoves, and guides light fires and lanterns each morning. Meals served family style in a cook tent.

Meat processing and taxidermy are your responsibility, but Jackson has a complete locker plant and taxidermy services nearby.

Beyond hunting, they run customizable wilderness pack trips to Washakie, Fitzpatrick, or Teton areas for sightseeing, fishing, and photography. Access premium trout water with native and cross-breed species including Cutthroat, Golden, Brook, Brown, Rainbow, Goldens, and Splake.
