Full description and what to expect
Cowboy Action Match is a timed shooting competition where you run period scenarios with single-action revolvers, lever rifles, and shotguns—all dressed in your Old West persona. October 11 at Lander Gun Range. It's the closest thing to actually being a gunslinger without the felonies.
You'll shoot multiple stages, each one a different frontier situation. The clock runs while you work through targets in sequence, so speed and accuracy both matter. Everyone gets an alias and shows up in character. It's competitive but built around having fun and telling stories after.
