Full description and what we offer
The Archery Addicts opened in Gillette because the owner realized the town—like many Wyoming communities he'd lived in—had no real archery shop. After 8 years as an Army aircraft electrician, he got out in 2021 and decided to turn his bowhunting addiction into something the local archery community could actually use.
"We do not sell you anything but our time. If you are looking for new arrows, components, strings and cables, sights or anything archery related, we will gladly sit down with you and go through them with you and give you the best personal input that we can. We will never give you any advice that does not come from personal experience."
That's the operating philosophy: personal experience only, appointments only, and customer satisfaction as the priority.
Custom Work & Installation - Custom string and cable builds (through your choice of manufacturer) — $50 install fee with tune included - Custom arrow builds — $5 per arrow plus component costs - Bow accessory installation — $10 - Sight mounting with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd axis leveling - Custom sight tapes — $10
Services & Instruction - One-on-one tuning sessions - Lessons — $50/hour - Shop fee of $10 for anything using shop materials or equipment
Currently open by appointment only, Monday through Saturday. Contact them to discuss your archery questions and schedule time.
Gillette didn't have a dedicated archery shop before this. The owner wanted to make the sport more accessible to younger archers and help veterans of bowhunting and competitive archery get more from their equipment. They're small, still building, but they prioritize knowing what they're talking about and standing behind it.
