Full description and what we offer
Cranbrook Archery Club is a dedicated archery facility serving the Kootenay region with both indoor and outdoor shooting ranges. Founded by local bow hunters passionate about growing archery in the community, the club has evolved into a comprehensive archery destination offering diverse shooting activities for beginners, hunters, and competitive archers alike.
- •Target Archery - The club maintains a focused target archery program with registered indoor 18-meter rounds throughout the winter season. Members can participate in competitive shooting events affiliated with Archery Canada and BC Archery, or enjoy casual club nights in a relaxed practice environment.
- •3D Archery - Family-friendly outdoor 3D shoots are held seasonally, including the Spring Bigfoot Shoot and Summer 3D events. These courses feature an extensive inventory of 3D targets set throughout the outdoor range, providing varied and challenging shooting experiences suitable for all skill levels.
- •Youth Programs - The club operates a dedicated youth archery program (JOP), introducing younger shooters to the sport with proper instruction and club-provided equipment.
- •Indoor Range: 2279 Cranbrook St N, Cranbrook, BC V1C 3T3
- •Outdoor Range: Mission Fort Steele Road area
The outdoor range includes primitive camping (first-come, first-served), outhouses, and space for family events. Club membership provides access to both facilities during specified times. Members must maintain current BC Archery membership in addition to club membership.
Annual membership ($15 individual, $25 family) grants access to both ranges. The club hosts registered shoots, regional championships, and casual club nights (Tuesdays, 7-9 PM during winter months).
