Full description and what we offer
Michael's Lock, Stock & Barrel started as a part-time repair operation in 1992 and became a full-time, home-based business at 334 McMillan Road in Notasulga. In 2009, it was certified as an official Crosman Corporation Warranty Service Center—a designation Michael still holds for all Crosman, Benjamin/Sheridan, and Remington airguns.
Michael handles airgun repairs only—no firearms, no airsoft, no Daisy, no Hatsan. He specializes in:
- •Seal and valve rebuilds (the foundation of every repair)
- •Complete internal cleaning and lubrication
- •Pump piston replacement
- •Valve and piercing assembly rebuilds
- •Full restorations of vintage and worn guns
- •Semi-custom modifications and tuning
- •Factory warranty service for Crosman, Benjamin, Sheridan, and Remington
- •Obsolete airgun repairs (Sears, Montgomery Ward, hardware store brands)
- •Velocity testing and chronographing before return
- •Sighting in at 20 yards (10 yards for pistols/BB guns)
No parts sales. Parts are provided only on guns sent in for repair. Michael stocks most common parts for the brands he services, and can source others as needed.
Every repair gets the same thorough treatment:
1. Complete inspection and testing of the gun 2. Full internal cleaning and lubrication 3. All seals replaced with new factory components 4. Valve work (replaced or rebuilt with new parts) 5. Velocity testing to verify performance 6. Sighting in at proper distance 7. 90-day warranty on all parts and labor
"These old guns can be repaired and made to shoot like when they were new. Michael has most if not all of the parts needed in shop. If something else is needed I know where to get it."
Michael intentionally avoids piecemeal repairs—he does a complete rebuild so nothing gets overlooked and another failure doesn't happen weeks later.
