ENDEX Archery exists because one person experienced archery's power to heal. The founder grew up in South Louisiana, hunting and fishing in the bayous with a hand-me-down rifle and homemade bows. That spark followed him into the Air Force, then to the deserts of New Mexico where he discovered western big game hunting. When he landed in Montgomery, Alabama, a simple trip to Bass Pro with his wife changed everything—a PSE Stinger bow under the Christmas tree in 2011 reignited a passion he thought was behind him.
But the real turning point came on December 21, 2015. Deployed to Afghanistan, six members of his team were killed in a suicide bombing. The weight of that loss nearly consumed him. Archery became his sanctuary, his therapy, a way to manage PTSD and trauma that threatened to engulf his life. He experienced firsthand what archery could do—enhance focus, build mindfulness, strengthen the mind-body connection—and felt compelled to share it.
ENDEX Archery is a non-profit dedicated to providing archery equipment, education, and mentorship to:
Archery demands discipline, focus, and clarity—the same attributes required in military service. This makes it a natural fit for veterans and first responders seeking relief from their mental burdens.
They run structured programs that create community and offer a safe space for people to heal and rebuild their lives. Through partnerships with archery industry organizations and hosted events, they've already equipped over 30 individuals with the archery gear they need to start their recovery journey.
Support comes in multiple forms: donations fund equipment purchases, volunteering strengthens the community programs, and spreading awareness helps reach more people who need it.
Every contribution directly translates to archery equipment and mentorship for someone dealing with PTSD or trauma. One arrow at a time, lives get transformed.
