The Civilian Marksmastery Program (CMP) isn't just training—it's the backbone of American competitive marksmanship. They run National Matches at Camp Perry (the oldest shooting competition in the country), operate two dedicated competition centers, and manage affiliated clubs in all 50 states.

CMP operates two dedicated competition centers: - Gary Anderson CMP Competition Center (GACCC) - Judith Legerski CMP Competition Center (JLCCC) - Talladega Marksmanship Park (air gun and smallbore) - Petrarca Range

They sanction hundreds of matches annually—from postal competitions to the National Matches at Camp Perry, which draws competitors from across the country.

CMP maintains a network of state associations and affiliated clubs, provides club insurance tailored to marksmanship organizations, and offers coaching resources. They publish training materials, rulebooks, and run the "ON the Mark" newsletter.
